KMB Design Group, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will primarily support our telecommunications and solar divisions. Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in structural engineering design.
Job Description:
- Perform site visits and structural inspections to analyze field conditions
- Perform structural design and analysis for the assessment of existing structures, including repair and reinforcement under the supervision of a PE
- Developing finite element models for the analysis of existing and/or new structures
- Prepare technical calculations, drawings, tables, charts, and reports
- Perform and/or supervising structural engineering efforts
- Quality assurance and quality control of projects
- Structural Review of design and fabrication drawings
- Update internal project deliverable tracking tools as needed
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in structural engineering design
- Exemplary communication skills
- Proficiency in dealing with high volume projects
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
