“Factors such as increase in network densification, increase in mobile data traffic and emergence of Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) band are driving the growth of the market. In addition, an increased investment in 5G infrastructure by numerous countries fuels the market growth.”

Importance of Small Cells Increases with 5G Evolution

The role of small cells is becoming more vital with every “G” evolution. Small cells are small base stations (about the size of a pizza box) that contain lower power radios and antennas with short range wireless transmission systems.
